An impromptu call
Jumped on an impromptu call with my manager earlier.
She asked me, "How are you?" in her usual bright, American "How are you? I'm great! And how are you? I'm great!" kind of way.
I recoiled before I managed to respond, "I'm... okay. As okay as someone can be on a day like this."
She once told me, "We make our own weather." I could see her managing her weather.
