Baked sweet rice cake (年糕) recipe

A recipe from one of my mom's friends.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325–350 degrees
  2. Combine all ingredients except the sweet rice powder — the coconut milk and milk combines to 3 cups of liquid
  3. After all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, fold in sweet rice powder and mix well
  4. Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before baking or add red bean paste in the center of mixture
  5. Bake at 325–350 degrees for 1 hour
