Do you believe in aliens?

Sure, yes, why not. It's hard to believe that we're alone in such an infinitely large universe. Sometimes I think of them as non-sentient. Other times I think of them as super advanced. This question reminds me of They're Made Out of Meat.

If you have to dress in just one color for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I already do, and the color is black. :>

Favorite random fact that you know.

Childhood dream.

I don't recall having any dreams. 😐

If you have to be a teacher, which subject would you teach?

Philosophy. (Not at all because I'm qualified to do so, but because some of my favorite elective courses were in philosophy.)³

If you were an astronaut going to the space, which items would you bring with you?

A cat, maybe two. (I know nothing about being an astronaut or being in space.) (Cats are not items, but this was my first thought, so here it is.)

Only being able to run, or only being able to walk?

Walk. I prefer a slower pace. Running everywhere reminds me of In Time. 🙃

Favorite letter?

Lowercase g with a loop-tail.

A memorable song that had impacted you in any way?

Something Corporate – Konstantine. The emo doesn't end.

Favorite celestial body (Planets, stars, constellation, galaxies, etc)

In fiction, asteroid B 612. In reality, the Pleiades.

Why did you make the blog in the first place?

I read some things. I felt nostalgic and inspired to create something that didn't exist solely on my computer.

Why did you choose Bearblog?

It focuses on doing only one thing well, there is a one-time payment option, and I liked the community of personal bloggers here.

Have you blogged on other platforms before?

Yes, I kept a private WordPress journal for more than a decade. I've played with other platforms, but never really posted more than a few initial posts. I still have a folder of .md + .txt files for more personal entries.

Do you write your posts directly in the editor or in another software?

On the phone, I write directly in the editor.

On my computer, I write in Notepad++. I've accidentally left the new post page one too many times.²

When do you feel most inspired to write?

I do most of my thinking in the shower, in traffic, or in conversation with others. I write when I have something I'm turning around in my mind.

Do you publish immediately after writing or do you let it simmer a bit as a draft?

Immediately. The exceptions are weeknotes and links, which are compiled along the way and posted at the end of the week or month.

Your favorite post on your blog?

This deplorable situation, a story about cookies.

Any future plans for your blog? Maybe a redesign, changing the tag system, etc.?

I really need to figure out what to name this thing. My blog name is just my URL right now.

Otherwise, I'm quite happy with my layout, but considering other typefaces and color schemes — but no real plans at the moment.
