The open dishwasher
I opened the dishwasher to get a clean mug and didn’t close it.
E later saw it and thought, "Is this Sylvia's passive aggressive way of telling me to clear out the dishwasher because I haven't done it yet?" And then he paused, "No, Sylvia doesn't have the framework or capacity to operate this way. I won't read too much into it."
He then told me this, and I was amused. I confirmed that it was true — if I wanted him to clear out the dishwasher, I would have just said so. I was just too lazy to close it.
It is nice to be known. 🙂
