Happenings
Calliope 🐈 has been itchy recently. Still not sure what's causing it. The vet gave her an injection, and it doesn't seem to be helping. She's still dragging her little butt on our quilts, albeit less. Her fur is looking more disheveled these days.
After 4 months of way too much drama with the contractors,2 the bathroom renovation is 98% done. The last 2% is getting the right tub spout shipped to us & installed. Ferguson shipped it thrice and managed to keep sending the wrong item (their customer service has been great & super responsive though).
We were craving pizza and decided to order from Pizza Hut. Bad idea. The pizza was not delicious and our bodies did not like it.
Got a very long overdue & much-needed haircut. So pleased to be out of that growing-out-a-pixie phase.
Went to Costco and stocked up our previously-empty fridge. Sampled & immediately picked up this Chi Forest bubbly water.
Took the Personality Ninja test.3 I typically enjoy personality assessments, but really didn't like the "you are a ninja" role-playing format. I powered through it anyway & was disappointed to see that the results were inconclusive (it suggested 8 archetypes, all with low probability at 9–13 points).
Enjoyed brunch with E & the sis. It’s been a while since we’ve gone out to eat. Sometimes it’s nice to just sit outside & chat while sipping a hot latte.

Started & finished watching The Diplomat season 2. 😲
We wanted to get back into seeing live music, so I signed up for Bandsintown. I was skeptical if this was the best way to learn about tours... but I received an email notification that Nils Frahm is performing in the U.S. & managed to pick up tickets. So it turns out it does do what I need.
Still brand new to blogging again & super enamored with exploring the community via discovery feed, blogrolls, postrolls, links, etc. The WeblogPoMo AMA challenge seems fun & I'm looking forward to reading along.

- The Pibow case I ordered for my Raspberry Pi 4 arrived. Thinking about what to build with it... was originally going to set up Pi-hole, but it's no longer needed now that we're on Mullvad VPN.
Our tile guy (acting as general contractor) had a falling out with his plumber. We ended up with a renovated bathroom and an incomplete tub drain connection. Neither were willing to take responsibility for completing the work. We went from angry to exhausted and are now working with a new plumber to get the project to the finish line. ↩
