Happenings

Attended a holiday party & ate something that my stomach disagreed with. The 1-hour commute back home was not fun. Watched this story about tacos and felt better.
Completed one of our most significant events of the year. Snackies¹ fueled me through it. Now starting to organize our next big event. I always like to think this time of year is the slowest, but it never is.
My new passport arrived. So fast! I was afraid it'd take longer. (E's green card, on the other hand, is taking so very long.)
I think I made a career-limiting comment. A bad idea was implemented. I said, "This kills me. I'm dead." She (very important person) agreed, "It kills me too." I later learned it was her idea. 💀
The tub spout is installed. This situation is finally over.

When the Phone Rings — I'm still here because now I have to know how it ends.
Interstellar, 10th anniversary IMAX screening — I can't believe it's been 10 years. I thought it was too heavy-handed when I was younger, but I didn't mind the sentiment this time around. (Have I grown to appreciate love & connection more with age?)

After hanging out at Tildes for a while, I've gained more perspective on the forum's culture. I've decided that I don't really like it, so I'm spending less time there.
There's a "big code cleanup underway" notice at the top of my Pinboard page. I thought that Pinboard was just going to wither away with time. This is a surprise.

Started sylvia-dev.bearblog.dev to play with some Bearblog CSS ideas. Considering a microblog layout that displays all post content, regardless of type & length, in one feed.
