My sister reminded me that years ago, I said my favorite Calvin and Hobbes comic strip was the one with the black crayon.1 I had forgotten it, so I had the opportunity to enjoy it all over again.

I happened to see and then could not stop watching this situation that unfolded within the indie web community. (It reminds me that if I intend to keep a personal website, I should consider purchasing a domain.)
Gaming, reading, listening
Factorio: Space Age
Core Keeper — I've been running around with a new lava slime pet. It rolled the Zoomies talent three times; that's +90% movement speed. I'm amused by a fast little blob following me around everywhere.
Shadow Slave — I was in the mood for a shounen story. (I guess calling it a progression fantasy, a term I learned recently, would be more accurate?) When I'm stressed, I find comfort in grindy leveling (whether in games or stories).
Tinkering
- While troubleshooting my Apricot keyboard's malfunction (and thinking it was a firmware issue), I simplified my keymap and removed what I never used. I finally updated my keyboard layout to document my latest keymap. (I love home row mods.)
