Happenings

I'm obsessed with cold noodles + peanut sauce (涼麵). I'll need to find a recipe for this.
TIL there should be line breaks after headings in Markdown.
Completed(ish) weeks two & three of couch to 5k. It was so hot, I ended up going out after midnight for a few of the sessions. I've been so glum; jogging again has improved my mood.
After talking to my doctor, I decided to order a Skyla IUD.

Thunderbolts* — I went into this having no idea what it was about and quite liked its concept:

You know, just watching New York disappear into a big maze of interconnected shame rooms. You ever seen anything crazy like that before?

Factorio: Space Age — Usually E takes care of the trains, but the oil planet we're on is many small islands and entirely reliant on train transport, so I've taken up learning how to build them too. He saw my train station labels and asked, "Do you know what 'normie' means?" I responded, "Isn't it a cute way of saying normal?" He laughed and said no.
Enshrouded — Our NPCs have been living in a spooky basement dungeon... It's gotten crowded, so I built a house for them. I'm happy with its shape (I tried to avoid building a box).

I'm imagining what an Artifacts page here might look like. I can see it in my mind — and I'm excited to build it. But first, I have to take photos of everything. (And that's the hard part.)
Since I've been glum, the cheery neon colors weren't speaking to me anymore. I've updated to something more muted — a simple duotone.
I took a peek at the Bearblog changelog and liked the August updates: we can now insert tags anywhere and add next/previous links. I tried them out on my test page to see how they looked.
